Our CDM advisory service is one which will provide our Clients with the whole package they need to ensure compliance with the Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2015 which came into force on 6th April 2015. The Regulations are subject to some transitional arrangements but the most notable changes are the application of the regulations to all construction projects including domestic and strengthening the role of the client with added responsibilities.
As CDM Advisor/s, we will ensure that you as the Client have in place suitable arrangements which are implemented to cover the co-ordination of health and safety measures during planning and preparation of the construction phase.
Our services will cover:
The compilation of the Pre-Construction Phase Plan
The co-ordination of any design development that may affect the planning and management of the construction phase.
The compilation of information for the Health and Safety File
In addition we will provide advice and assistance to Clients on:
Ensuring that adequate arrangements are in place for managing the project
Notifying HSE about the project
Appointing competent designers and contractors
Managing the flow of health and safety information between Clients, designers and contractors
Advising the Client on the suitability of the Construction Phase Plan and the arrangements to ensure suitable welfare facilities are made available
Locating the information needed by designers and contractors and advising the Client if surveys must be commissioned
Producing a relevant up to date Health and Safety File which is suitable for future use at the end of the Construction Phase
